Weekend Herb Blogging #366 - Recap

It's a cozy gathering to start this year of Weekend Herb Blogging but we've got enough to form a complete meal - thanks for joining in with your always interesting recipes.

Lentil and Roasted Brussels Sprouts Salad
Stash from Simple Kitchen Seasons

Stash offers up a winter salad in what he calls a gluten-free version of tabbouleh. He has used brown lentils and roasted brussels sprouts and tossed them in a tangy dressing made from onion, parsley, mint and lemon juice.

Tomato Avocado Quinoa Salad with a Carrot Ginger Sesame Dressing
Janet from The Taste Space

Janet has whipped up a no-oil dressing - a mix of toasted sesame and sunflower seeds that have been blended with carrot, ginger, lemon juice and soy sauce.

Broccoli Mushroom Quiche with Parsley Pie Crust
Chelsea from Blackberry Eating

Chelsea experiments with Ruhlman's Ratio to create a parsley flecked pie dough and teams it with her mothers broccoli and mushroom quiche recipe. Looks like a winning combination!

Speculoos
Brii from Briggishome

After the savoury dishes we need something sweet and Brii has a wonderful spiced dutch cookie flavoured with cinnamon, cloves, mace, ginger, pepper, coriander, anise and nutmeg.

Triple Lemon Cordial

To finish, something to drink is my offering with this refreshing Triple Lemon Cordial.

I look forward to seeing you again next week when Simona will be hosting.
