Black and White Wednesday #52

Black & White Wednesday celebrates its first anniversary and it's fitting that Susan is hosting this week.

FOCS: Amaro Albergian

One of the things we're planning to do while we're in Italy, is to delve deeper into the wonderful world of digestives and amari. Some like Averna and Campari are very well known but we're more interested in tasting the lesser known and unusual.

The first digestive we're trying is Albergian Amaro

Black and White Wednesday #49

This week the talented and creative head of B&W Wednesday, Susan from The Well-Seasoned Cook is our host.

The subject I've chosen is garlic - it's one of those things that just seem born for black and white and this rather photogenic bunch of garlic was purchased from the Slow Food market here in Alba.
